UWB Leader, Alereon, Called Top Startup by EE Times

Prestigious trade publication includes Alereon on "60 Emerging Startups" list

Austin, TX – May 10, 2005 -- Alereon, a leading fabless semiconductor company developing wireless solutions for the Ultrawideband (UWB) and Wireless USB (W-USB) markets, announced today it was named one of Electronic Engineering Times (EE Times) "60 Emerging Startups". Formerly known as the "Silicon Strategies 60 Emerging Startups," the list was first published in April 2004 and again in October 2004; each version has included Alereon.

EE Times editors select the 60 Emerging Startups based on multiple criteria, including technology, investment profile and maturity.
